FRANCOIS-EUGENE ROUSSEAU & ERNEST-BAPTISTE LEVEILLE JARDINIERE. Important glass bowl features polychromed powder inclusions in colors of black, rust, blue and yellow mottled throughout a clear glass background. The exterior of the bowl is pressed with nicely detailed forms of fish and waves and the bowl is mounted on a wonderful bronze bamboo form frame with pineapple carved pad feet. The jardiniere retains an original paper label of the retailer which reads “Mason de L’Escalier de Cristal Pannier Lahoche & Co. 1, Rue Auber & Rue Scribe 6 (En Face Le Grand Opera)”.
