NEW HAMPSHIRE PINE 2-DRAWER BLANKET CHEST IN BLUE PAINT. Circa 1800. The rectangular top with applied molded edges mounted to the conforming case with rat-tail hinges, the case fitted with two graduated long drawers on a molded base raised on bracket feet with shaped returns. All in a later blue paint over original brown paint. SIZE: 40″ h. x 45-1/2″ w. x 21-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Backboards and feet original, brass hardware later replacements.
