SALVADOR DALI (Spanish, 1904-1989) “DANTE”. Original lithograph from an edition of 100 impressions signed and numbered by the artist for the Associated American Artist Series. A profile portrait of Dante, which was commissioned to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the birth of the great classic poet. This is Dali’s tribute to Dante Alighieri, the author of “The Inferno” and “The Divine Comedy”. Housed in a decorative flat wood frame with white matte. Numbered 28/100 and signed bottom right.
