HANDEL AND ROOKWOOD TABLE LAMP. Handel shade has chipped ice exterior and a band of raised outlined stylized flowers encircling the skirt. Shade is finished in a shaded rose coloration with plain white interior. Rests on a Rookwood base with closely matching color and impressed stylized flower design at the corners. Base has a bronze foot, riser and socket cluster. Shade is signed “Handel 381/7047 #11”. Base is unsigned. This lamp is pictured in The Handel Lamps Book by Hibel, Hibel & Fontaine, pg. 87, lower right. SIZE: Shade is 17-3/4″ dia. Lamp is 22-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some very minor wear to color on rim of shade. 5-66943 (3,500-4,500)
