MAHOGANY INLAID FEDERAL MIRROR (American/British 19th century). Mirror has typical Chippendale scroll work bottom crest which is slightly curved. Rectangular mirror frame has gold moldings with double line inlay. Top crest has double open scroll top flanking a central gold urn. All surrounding the mahogany crest with vertical oval inlay of urn. Book type and line inlay. Appears to have old glass. SIZE: 48” x 22” CONDITION: Two decorations missing from top sides, small chip to bottom scroll work, otherwise very good. 9-92936 (800-1,200)
