HESSMOBILE LIMOUSINE WITH ORIGINAL BOX. In near mint condition, this finely lithographed 1920s automotive toy is complete with chauffeured driver and opening rear doors to passenger compartment. Interior doors as well as passenger compartment are finely lithographed. Hess uses a unique friction mechanism, which has a power-lock on top of the cowl and a hand crank in front. Momentum is built up by turning the crank. When the power lock mechanism is released, the drive shaft is free to turn the rear wheels that propels the car forward. SIZE: 9″.
