WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE THUMBELINA PLATE. Wonderful Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre plate has center decoration of Thumbelina floating on a leaf. Thumbelina is holding a stick with an insect on top of the stick, meanwhile a maybug floats on a leaf next to Thumbelina. The plate is finished with a Twyford border. SIgned on the underside with Portland vase mark “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND”. There is no “Z” number. In the book Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre by Una des Fontaines, pages 179-180, photo page 264, plate 130a. SIZE: 10-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-65303 (2,000-3,000)
