MOLDED COPPER FULL BODIED ROOSTER WEATHERVANE WITH DIRECTIONALS. Circa 1900. Attributed to E. G. Washburn & Co. New York. The full bodied rooster with closed beak distinct plumage and with large curving sheet metal tail. Mounted on a rod now missing arrow. Sold with directionals. SIZE: h. of Rooster 23-1/2″ x l. 19-1/2″ CONDITION: The gilded surfaces now covered in silver paint with multiple repaired bullet holes in tail and body. The seams at the back of the neck split.
