FIVE IVORY NECKLACES. 1) 23″ ivory bead necklace with large carved swirled beads in the center and two carved elephant figures; one on each side of center. Necklace is finished with an ivory screw clasp. 2) 19″ vegetable ivory bead necklace interspersed with 7 carved elephant figures. Necklace is finished with vegetable ivory screw clasp. 3) 23″ vegetable ivory bead necklace made up of 11.8mm vegetable ivory beads and a vegetable ivory screw clasp. 4) 21″ ivory bead necklace with hand-formed oval ivory beads. Each bead is scrimshawed with various scenes of birds. The back of each bead carries an inscription in Oriental figures. Necklace is finished with an Oriental design clasp marked on the backside “Silver”. 5) 30″ ivory bead necklace with 11.5mm round beads and a carved monkey on each side climbing up the necklace.
