FINE MORTAR AND PESTLE IN GREEN PAINT. Circa 1820, New England. This nice maple example of matching mortar and pestle in sage green early paint. SIZE: 14″ h overall. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Mortar showing evidence of original Windsor green underneath sage. Normal and expected abrasion and wear from age. With mellow patina. 9-28519 (700-900)
