SET OF SIX BIRDCAGE WINDSOR SIDE CHAIRS. Late 18th century, New England. Each pine example with horizontal crestrail above a tablet crest joined to seven simulated bamboo spindles joined to shaped saddle seat raised on cylindrical simulated bamboo legs joined by box stretchers. SIZE: 35″ back h. 17″ seat h. CONDITION: Professionally cleaned and repolished showing normal and expected wear. Structurally very good, with exception of one seat with repaired crack. 9-29621 (2,000-3,000)
