LE PROTECTOR PALM PISTOL. Cal. 5.6 mm. SN: 5724. Another number with an eagle in front of it, 5405, is stamped above the SN. The serial number is followed by the stamp showing the pistol. 1-1/2” part octagonal bbl. Marked on the removable side plate “HLEE PROTECTORH / SYSTEME E. TURBIAUX” and on the opposite side “BTES.G.D.G. EN FRANCE ET A L’ETRANGER / PARIS”. This smaller version of the palm pistol was the origin of the various American versions. The rotating cylinder holds 9 of the extra short cartridges. CONDITION: Fine. 90% original nickel, worn on the sides. Safety has been polished. Sear spring is missing. 4-52963 FS82 (1,200-1,800)
