Beautiful Daum covered jar has cameo and enameled thistle design surrounding the body against an internally decorated background of pink shading to yellow and frost. The thistle flowers are beautifully enameled in blue. The matching lid has a central large thistle flower with blue enamel and radiating stylized leaves trimmed in gold gilt. Signed on the underside in gold “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 2″ t x 3″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66386 (1,000-1,500)
