TWO PAIR OF AMERICAN BRASS ANDIRONS. Late 18th- early 19th century, New England. Each pair with ball tops finials on ring- and baluster- turned shaft, raised on spurred cabriole legs, terminating in pointed pad feet, each with conforming log stops. The smaller pair with spherical knop. SIZE: Height: 16-1/2″ & 50-1/2″. Depth: 21″ & 17-1/2″. CONDITION: Good to very good overall, single larger andiron with dent at rear of ball. Smaller pair with iron reinforcement to dogs. 9-27931 (300-500)
