HENRI MATISSE (French, 1869-1954) TWO SEATED NUDES. Charcoal drawing on ivory toned drawing paper showing two seated nude women in an interior setting. Signed “H Matisse” lower right. Executed circa 1948. Presently housed in a shrink wrapped ivory matte. Accompanying the work is a certificate of authenticity from Richard Woolley of Woolley & Research, Boston, MA. Also two letters, one dated October 12, 1986 which is a receipt given by Pierre Searl to Fernande Sarellano and signed by both parties. The other being a receipt from Fernande Sarellano transferring ownership to Heike Exel. Another paper indicates that this receipt was done in 1993. SIZE: Sight: 8″ x 11-1/2″.
