The right and left facing signs inscribed as follows: “Florence & Howe No. 50 Main Street Sewing Machines Butterick & Co Paper Patterns “Carter’s Hemmers” W.K. Morison Agent.” and one having “B.Wooloxhall Boston, Mass.” on bottom. The side panel “Sewing Machine Needles and Attachments Upstairs”. There is a picture of an early sewing machine under the title. All done in gold against a black background. Outstanding recent “barn find” in Belfast, Maine. There was a W K Morison Company in Belfast, Maine. A rare opportunity to buy two original advertising signs for a known local Maine business and also considering a rare subject matter. SIZE: 35″ h x 30″ (curved sections) x 11-1/2″ d (side flap).
