WILLIAM WALKER MORRIS (British, -1867) AN AFTERNOON HUNT. Large oil on canvas scene shows a man seated on rocks with four hunting dogs. One stands at his feet looking out over a lake with mountains beyond. At the dogs feet are four recently shot birds and a backpack. All under a light blue and white cloud sky. Signed lower right “W W Morris, 1860″. Housed in a modern gilt molded wood frame. SIZE: 30″ x 50”. CONDITION: Relined, restored with inpainting. 9-96968 (6,000-8,000)
