PAUL SANDBY (British, 1730-1809) THE ARCHED BRIDGE. Oil on panel landscape shows an arched stone bridge over a small stream leading to a farmhouse with barn and cows in a field. The dark clouds have gathered over a wooded area and a figure stands on a dirt road. Signed lower right “P Sandby”.
