NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY TILT-TOP TEA TABLE. Last quarter 18th century, probably Massachusetts. The circular 2-board dish top hinged on a birdcage support and joined to an urn-form turned standard, raised on a tripod cabriole leg base terminating in ridged pad feet. SIZE: 28″ h. x 32-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: With old cleaned surfaces. Top appears to have been reglued at seam, legs reglued at shaft, early repair to birdcage at tabletop hinge. Otherwise good. 9-99144 (1,200-1,600)
