A SIGNED COLONEL L. W. JOHNSON 22 CAL. SHOT TIN IMAGE OF AN INDIAN CHIEF. Col. L. W. Johnson, like some of the other exhibitionist shooters, traveled throughout the United States giving demonstrations of his superior shooting skills and thus attracting attention to the cartridge company that he worked for. This one is a nice image of an Indian chief and signed in the upper left hand corner, “SHOT BY COLONEL L. W. JOHNSON, PETERS CARTRIDGE DIVISION OF REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, SEPTEMBER 13TH, 1939.
