PITTSBURGH REVERSE PAINTED LAMP. Diminutive size Pittsburgh table lamp has reverse painted shade with three panels separated by a vertical raised, textured ribbing. Each panel has scenic painting of rivers, meadows and forests against a purple sky with puffy white clouds. Shade rests on a cast metal base with bellflower decoration surrounding the foot and acanthus leaf decoration on the stem. Base is finished with an adjustable height shade ring. Shade is unsigned. Base is signed “PLB & Co”. SIZE: Shade is 10-1/4″ dia. Lamp is 16″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Socket is a replacement and rewired with contemporary plastic cord. Heat cap has been painted black. 5-67709 (500-700)
