FINE WALNUT BRASS BOUND TANTALUS. Mid 19th century, England. The hinged dome top opening to an interior fitted with three cut glass decanters and six stems. The front panels hinged as doors. Case sides mounted with cast brass carrying handles. SIZE: Case: 10-1/2″ h x 12-1/2″ w x 8-3/4″ d. CONDITION: One decanter with chipped stopper and large chip to rim. Second decanter with smaller chip to rim. Stems are associated. Case very good. 9-26493 (300-500)
