UNIQUE RUSTIC FOLK-ART CARVED GAMES TABLE. First half 20th century. The hexagonal top having three relief-carved “six-shooters”, the handles with carved steer heads on opposing corners, the edges rounded and chamfered, the apron notch-carved at corners, raised on three carved horse legs, terminating in hoofs. The whole painted in a cream color with gold and brown accents and highlights. This whimsical example seems ideally suited for a hand of poker. SIZE: 28-1/2″ h. of top x 45″ dia. CONDITION: Table is in very good structural condition, the painted surfaces showing appropriate and acceptable wear, the carvings of good quality. Two of three legs have been professionally re-set. Two shallow cigarette burns on top affecting painted surface only. 9-92763 (5,500-7,500)
