AMES PEACE FLASK. Typical large body flask with an American eagle over a circle of stars with two clasping hands in a sunburst over a trophy of arms. It has “WS” inspector mark by the eagle on one side and the date “1837” on the collar. CONDITION: Very good. Two or three small dents with one slightly open seam. Broken spring. Cleaned a long time ago with some coarse material that left cleaning marks, now beginning to patinate. From the collection of the late John Hamilton. 4-52158 JR435 (250-400)
