RARE PAIR OF MIRROR BACK SCONCES. First third 19th century, American. Each of double pie plate design molded in relief with triple crimped edges centering a circular mirror plate. The candle arms tapered, riveted and soldered to crimped drip pans, each with candle socket. Fitted with pierced wall hangers. SIZE: 7″ h x 6-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Fine patina with remnants of original tin surfaces. Very good untouched condition. 9-28508 (1,200-1,500)
