This fine example of American folk art, carved and decorated, depicting a turkey with turned head and glass eyes, standing on carved clamshell plinth. Etched signature in script “Finney” at side of plinth. SIZE: 23″ h. x 27″ l. CONDITION: Retains all original surfaces, in very good original condition. A very fine shrinkage split, proper left rear of body continuing toward tail. 9-99052 (6,000-10,000)
