GIOVANNI MARESCA (Italian, 19th Century) TWO WORKS: STREET URCHIN. Both oil on board paintings identically housed in Florentine style gilt pierced frames. One shows a boy smoking a cigarette standing next to his broom. He wears a tattered green & red outfit and a tramp type hat. Signed lower left. The second shows a boy with brown pants and white shirt carrying a broom under his arm and stepping forward while whistling a tune. Signed lower right. SIZE: Sight: 15-1/2″ x 11-1/2″.
