UNSIGNED (European, 19th Century) SOLDIER AND MAID WITH HORN. Small oil on canvas depicts a soldier in tricorner hat with green velvet coat with boots. He holds his horn while a young maid blows it with a dog in the foreground. Signed lower right “EZ”, possibly Ziem. Housed in an antique gesso gold frame which is probably original. SIZE: 8-1/2” x 7-1/4”. CONDITION: Some craquelure, generally very good. 9-71899 (900-1,200)
