UNMARKED JUMEAU FRENCH FASHION DOLL WITH WOODEN ARMS. Early 1880’s French Poupee with closed mouth, glass eyed head on separate bisque shoulder plate on her original white leather body which is gusseted at the hip and knees with wooden arms that are jointed at the shoulders, elbows and wrist. She wears a brown human hair wig which in upswept braids and has been well re-costumed in a burgundy wool skirt with plated taffeta trim and wearing a brocade jacket with large cloth buttons. SIZE: 16-1/2″ (42cm). CONDITION: All bisque parts are excellent, wear to wooden finger tips and one leg has a split seam in the rear with another split of the front of the ankle, currently held together with clear tape. 1-8450 RS (2,500-3,500)
