*REMINGTON MODEL 121 SMOOTH BORE PUMP RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR Shot. SN 42316. Standard grade rifle with 23-1/4” rnd bbl, 3/4 magazine, silver front bead, no provision for a rear sight with a grooved top receiver. The wood is nicely figured, uncheckered straight grain American walnut with large flat bottom ribbed forearm and semi-pistol grip stock with checkered Remington metal buttplate. The bbl is counter-bored about half way down and is approximately 3/8” diameter at the muzzle. The bbl is marked “22 CAL. MO-SKEET-O BORE”. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Metal retains 96-97% strong original blue with light muzzle and edge wear and a nick or two on the bbl and receiver. Wood is sound and retains most of an old refinish on the butt stock with the forearm retaining 93-95% original varnish. Forearm has a couple of bruises and normal scratches and the butt stock a fresh bruise on the bottom. Good mechanics, bright shiny bore. 4-52877 JR383 (500-1,000)
