FOUR COIN SILVER SPOONS BY THOMAS BARTON SIMPKINS (1724-1804). Three 4 3/4″ spoon marked with a square hallmark T.S. On the back of each bowl is what appears to be 3/4 of a sand dollar. Top of each spoon is engraved M.S. One has an additional letter. In addition there is a 6″ spoon which has a hallmark T. Simpkins with the same sand dollar, this one has on the back of the top initials K.S. to M.R. Oct. 26, 1774. One small spoon has crease in bowl, otherwise very good. 9-92039 (200-400)
