STEPHEN EMERY (1725-1801) COIN SILVER CANN. The cann, hallmarked “S.E” above a second fainter mark believed to read “S.E anvers” (Danvers, Massachusetts?). Of bulbous form with reeded rim, stepped base, and with applied scrolled handle. Monogrammed in multiple places, one side with initials “MDLeB”, the opposing side monogrammed with “FLeB. 1863″; opposing the handle are additional monograms in script above and below a rondel with scrolling monogram. 11 Troy oz. SIZE: 5-1/2” h. CONDITION: Small dents around the body, denting and solder unevenness to foot rim. Showing wear overall within normal parameters. 9-92938 (2,500-4,000)
