HANDEL DAFFODIL REVERSE PAINTED LAMP. Lamp begins with a domical glass shade reverse painted with daffodils, wild flowers, and foliage. Backing this design is the color black and behind that is various shades of green, giving the shade a very three dimensional quality. The shade is supported by a three socket base of Grecian urn form decorated with a simple band and round foot. The base is completed with acorn pull chains, top cap, and finial. The shade is signed “HANDEL 7122”, artist initialed “M”, the rim is signed “Handel Lamps Pat’d No. 979664 and the base is incised “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Overall 23″ t.
