PILGRIM CENTURY SAWBUCK TABLE. Late 17th/early 18th century, New England. This exceptional pine example with single board top and breadboard ends in worn, original paint, joined to an X-form stretcher base, joined by a medial trough. The ends joined by beaded stretchers. The whole joined by T-head hand forged nails. SIZE: 24″ h x 30-3/4″ l x 17-1/2″ w. CONDITION: With good patina and color, the top with expected early shrinkage cracks, now stable. Overall good with no restorations. 9-28480 (4,000-6,000)
