LOT OF SEVEN PAPER ITEMS RELATING TO THE SHARPS RIFLE CO. 1) Three $15 Bearer bonds No. 1, 2, and 3 that have been clipped and paid. – Very fine. 2) Two postcards addressed to the Sharps Rifle Co. in Bridgeport, both with 1 cent postage. One dated October 4, 77, the other November 11, 77. One deals with a financial meeting in New York. The other from a customer complaining that he did not receive a disk. – Both are slightly yellowed but have sharp edges and corners with completely legible writing. 3) Sharps Rifle Co. check, with large crossed rifles, No. 704 dated September 6, 1875 payable to C.L. Stone & Sons in the amount of $82.59. – Very fine. Everything is clear and legible. 4) Hand written letter to Sharps dated July 26, 1880 from a Mr. John Borden of Boston, Mass., wherein he states that he has a Sharps rifle for sale. Attached over the letter is a printed transcript of the letter. – The letter is fine and bright. 4-50402, 4-50403, 4-50404, 4-50405 JR428 (100-200)
