Hammer retains strong, bright case colors on sides & rear edge with top edge mostly turned silver. Grip frame retains most of its orig factory blue, slightly thinned on front & back straps. Orig cyl retains 93-95% strong orig blue, crisp & bright in flutes. 44-40 cyl retains virtually all of its orig factory blue, appears to be unfired. Grips show moderate to heavy wear with heavy oil staining and an inside compression fracture around escutcheon in left grip. Hammer is not solid in safety notch, otherwise mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. Ammunition boxes are fine, cartridges were not checked. 4-40457 JR119 (6,000-9,000)
