RARE “HINGHAM TYPE” PANTRY BOX IN RED PAINT. First quarter 19th century, Hingham, Massachusetts. The round box with conforming cover constructed of well-developed shaped finger lap joinery. SIZE: 5-1/4″ h x 10-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: The box with old glued split around one quarter of lip, obscured by lid. Otherwise very good. With normal and expected overall wear. 9-28515 (900-1,200)
