WILLIAM CLINTON SCHENCK (American, 1947-) “BUTCH HATED TO CUT HIS STAY IN JACKSON HOLE SO SHORT”. Large oil on canvas western scene shows a cowboy riding atop a brown and white horse in full gallop. The man looks back with six-shooter in hand cocked at the ready. The background is tall majestic mountains under bright blue skies. Signed lower right “Schenck” and dated “97”. Housed in a modern deep blue painted wood frame. Attached to reverse are three labels including Vanier Galleries, Scottsdale Arizona. Titled and dated on reverse also. SIZE: 45″ x 58″.
