TWO HAND PAINTED FANS. 19th/20th Century. 1) 16 sticks in faux mother of pearl with a lace area having a hand painted scene of a man with three women dancing. SIZE: Closed is 9-1/4”. CONDITION: Damaged area to lace, as is. 2) 17 sticks in simulated mother of pearl having gold decoration and pierce carving. Paper having scenes of small groups of people in elegant dress in landscape with building and water. Signed “Aton”. Back side having a landscape scene. SIZE: Closed is 10”.
