FRARY GUN STOCK FLASK. Brass buttstock shaped powder flask, Riling #1335. With 6-3/4″ body, having repoussed foliate & arabesque patterns completely around the buttplate, a checkered wrist and foliate patterns near the wrist. The top & spout are unmarked. It has small hanger rings from the comb of the stock and the back of the butt. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Retains about 50% orig finish with the worn areas a medium mellow patina. Left side has five or six small spots. No apparent dents or dings & with a minor open seam at the heel. From the collection of the late John Hamilton. 4-52152 JR444 (300-500)
