HANDEL PEACOCK HANGING LAMP. Rare and unusual design of a obverse painted peacock sitting amidst foliage on either side of shade. Subdued mauve, blues, yellows and oranges are set against an orange iridescent background. The shade is supported by hanging hardware that carries a desirable dark patina finish. Signed “Handel 7259” and artist signed, “Walter”. SIZE: Overall 28″ l. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent with chips to fitter rim that are concealed when globe is in place. Hardware is very good to excellent. Ceiling cap has slightly different patina. 5-69815 (4,000-5,000)
