HANDEL BLACK BIRD LAMP. Shade begins with a velvet black background and is decorated with an overall chartreuse peony floral pattern that accentuate two pairs of birds. The exotic birds that are resting on branches are painted in vibrant purples, oranges, and yellows. The birds have been created in painstakingly minute detail. The shade is supported by a fabulous polychromed three legged base with glass rosettes and prisms. The base is finished with three sockets, pull chains, top cap, and finial. The shade is signed “Handel 7026” and is artist signed “Broggi”. The base is signed “Handel Lamps” on a felt label. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Overall 23″ t.
