GALLE FAIENCE VASE. Galle Faience vase has central cartouche on the front of the vase with blue and white scene of children on a shoreline with castles on the opposite side of the lake and mountains in the background. The cartouche is surrounded by a raised branch encircling the cartouche with random leaves, flowers, and fruit hanging from the branch. All set against a mottled yellow and orange background. The backside of the vase is decorated with a thorny branch with leaves and fruit against the same background. Signed on the underside “E. Galle Nancy”. SIZE: 6-1/2″ t.
