HANDEL 6688 FLORAL & BUTTERFLY TABLE LAMP. Lamp begins with a reverse painted shade depicting clusters of five petal flowers with three butterflies hovering above. The shade is painted in very pretty hues of pinks, mauve, purples and greens with vibrant yellow in the floral pattern. This design is set against a pastel blue, green and teal background representing the sky. The shade is supported by a nicely patinaed three column art nouveau base. The shade is signed “Handel 6688” as well as “Handel Lamps Pat’d No. 079664” and the base is signed “Handel Lamps” on felt label. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Overall 23″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Base has three replaced sockets and pull chains and some very minor discoloration to patina. 5-68657 (8,000-12,000)
