PULLMAN LIGHT FIXTURE.

PULLMAN LIGHT FIXTURE. Unusual flush mount light fixture was designed by the Pullman Railroad Company for use in their railroad cars. The fixture is complete with four Steuben calcite shades. The unique mounting assembly for the shades is a bracket that screws on to the lamp. The bracket goes around the fitter on the shade and a long spring attaches between the mounting bracket and the shade fitter. When the bracket is screwed into place, the spring tightens around the shade fitter and the shade cannot come loose from the vibration of the train. A wonderful collectible item for both the lamp collector and the railroad enthusiast. SIZE: 8-1/2″ t including shades. 11″ dia at widest. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-62122 (500-700)
