WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE MALFREY POT. Wonderful diminutive size malfrey pot is done in the Elves & Bell Branch pattern with elves and fairies playing amongst toadstools and green grass with midnight lustre background. Background is lightly decorated with spider web design and the pot is finished with its original domed lid with gilt spider and spider web and a fairy in the middle of the spider web. Inside of the lid is decorated with a spider and spider web against a pearl lustre background. Signed on the underside with gold Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood Made in England” and “Z4968”. SIZE: 3-1/2″ t x 4-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Very good with wear to gilded spider webs on both body and lid. 5-62567 (15,000-20,000)
