QUEEN ANNE BURL WALNUT HIGHBOY. Mid 18th century, Massachusetts. In two parts, the upper case fitted with a pair of aligned short drawers over three long drawers fitted to the lower case with mid molding of a long drawer above a short drawer flanked by deep drawers above an arched apron with pendant acorn finials on cabriole legs with scalloped returns terminating in platform pad feet. The drawer fronts all with burl veneer panels within crossbanding. SIZE: 61″ h x 36-1/2″ case w x 41-1/2″ overall w x 22-1/2″ d.
