Oil on mahogany panel scene shows a figure walking along a dirt path between lines of tall trees which stand above a pond with far away trees under blue and white cloud sky. Signed lower right “T. Rousseau”. Housed in its original fabulous stepped gesso decorated gilt frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 11-3/4″ x 16″. PROVENANCE: From an Ellsworth, Maine Estate.
