EARLY AMERICAN DOVETAILED HANGING PINE PIPE BOX IN ORIGINAL GREEN PAINT. 2nd half 18th century, probably Maine. Fashioned with a pitched roof above a double pipe compartment, the backboard with ringed ears and scalloped cresting. In forest green paint. SIZE: 18″ h. x 9-1/2″ overall w. x 4-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Structurally very good, small shallow chip at back of backboard, proper right ear. Otherwise very good. 9-99392 (1,200-1,800)
