PETER KORNBECK (Danish, 1837-1894) ITALIAN COURTYARD. Outstanding unframed oil on canvas Italian scene shows an arched entrance to a courtyard. The entrance has children playing, women conversing and, an ox cart with produce. Beyond is a white stucco building with bell tower with tall mountains in the background. Signed lower right “P Kornbeck” and dated. SIZE: 10” x 14-1/4”. CONDITION: Some minor spot inpainting, very good. 9-73558 MD (4,500-5,500)
